Our Services

At Ear-tronics, we are proud to serve a diverse clientele with hearing loss originating from different causes.
Some of our clients may experience hearing loss as a natural process of aging, while others may have hearing loss from exposure to loud noise. Our customized hearing health services connect you with treatment and assistance tailored to your needs.

SERVICES AT EAR-TRONICS

Our services address your needs at any stage of hearing ability or loss. Our core services begin with hearing consultation and assessment. We do not only begin with a general hearing test but we are careful to inquire about your individual experiences and needs.

Our team at Ear-tronics works to help you find a sustainable solution to meet your individual lifestyle and needs. Struggling to hear in a social setting? Difficulty with sound while driving? Missing the unique sounds of nature while on a hike? Looking for a hearing solution to support your active lifestyle?

There is no one-size-fits-all model of hearing assistance, and we are committed to finding a personalized solution for you. Attentive, personalized care means that we understand the context of your hearing loss and the areas where you may need the most assistance. Our team at Ear-tronics works with you to find the right hearing solution tailored to your needs.

Our services do not stop at the point of hearing aid provision. We are available for ongoing assistance, counseling, and maintenance of your aids to make sure they are being used to their utmost capacity and to ensure that they support your lifestyle.

Consultation and Hearing Exam

With new patients, our first meeting entails a detailed consultation about your hearing needs and your lifestyle. Understanding your daily activities and occupation helps our specialists find the best hearing solution to meet your needs, if a hearing loss is found. Once we understand the environments in which you struggle to hear, we will begin the hearing assessment.

Our staff of licensed audiologists are skilled at performing diagnostic hearing tests that are thorough, precise, and accurate to diagnose your hearing loss. Typically, hearing tests require you to listen to a series of tones at different frequencies and volumes, and simply signaling to your hearing specialist when you hear a sound. The test is painless and brief, and you will be surprised how quickly it goes by. Results of your hearing test are recorded on an audiogram, a visual representation of your hearing abilities. Based on your hearing test results, we can recommend the best solutions to help optimize your ability to hear.

Assistive Listening Devices

Assistive Listening Devices

In addition to hearing aids, we offer assistive listening devices (ALDs) to give you an extra boost in amplification when needed. ALDs do not replace hearing aids – rather, they enhance your listening experience in more challenging noise situations. Options include personal amplifiers (FM, infrared, etc.) and a wide range of devices (TV streamers, captioned telephones) which either work solo or in conjunction with your hearing aids to provide more access to sound. Contact our team at Ear-tronics to learn more about the ALDs we offer.
Custom Earplugs and Hearing Protection

Custom Earplugs and Hearing Protection

Hearing protection is the other side of the coin of hearing health. We help you find the right earplugs for your workplace or leisure activity, such as playing or listening to loud music. Hearing protection can now be customized to the shape of your ears, much like hearing aids with earmolds. These earplugs protect from a much wider range of frequencies and can keep your existing range of hearing intact long into the future. Musicians may also be interested in customized in-ear monitoring systems, and we can help you find the right combination of amplification, protection, and comfort for all of your needs.
Cerumen (Earwax) Management

Cerumen Management

One of the common causes of temporary hearing loss and even ear pain is the buildup of cerumen, or earwax. Our team is equipped to remove waxy buildup in the ear canal, relieving pressure and greatly improving hearing. In some cases, we may be able to help you in our offices, while other instances may be more severe, requiring referral to a licensed practitioner. In either case, we can be your first point of contact to relieve the problems associated with cerumen accumulation.
Tinnitus

Tinnitus Treatment

Tinnitus is the experience of ringing, popping, clicking, or whooshing that is ongoing. In some instances we can help treat the symptoms of tinnitus with hearing assistance. Particularly when you suffer from ringing in the ears, hearing aids can be encoded with phase cancellation technology to relieve the symptoms of tinnitus. Similarly Bluetooth can be used to reduce tinnitus symptoms through location and media-specific technology. Ear-tronics is the place to start for tinnitus treatment.
